About Me

Hi there! I’m Rosa Harper, the person behind higashinoeden.com. If you’ve been looking for clear and honest World of Warcraft guides, you’re in the right place. I’ve been playing WoW for many years and decided to start this site to help other players enjoy the game without getting overwhelmed by confusing information.

Where It All Started

I first tried World of Warcraft in late 2005, during a quiet winter break. I didn’t expect much—I thought I’d play for a weekend and move on. But that weekend turned into hundreds of hours exploring Azeroth, running dungeons, and learning how every class worked. From that moment, I was hooked.

Back then, there weren’t many clear guides. Most of what I found was too long, too technical, or written in a way that made it hard to follow. I started writing my own notes and sharing them with friends. When they told me I explained things better than most websites, I realized I could help more people by putting my guides online. That’s how higashinoeden.com began.

What I Do on This Site

This site is my way of sharing what I’ve learned. I write:

  • Simple guides for new and returning players
  • Patch summaries without the fluff
  • Tips to make gold, level up faster, or improve your setup
  • Notes on changes to classes, dungeons, and raids
  • My personal thoughts on the game as I play it

I don’t write for clicks or use filler just to take up space. Everything here is written by me, based on real in-game experience. If I post a guide about a spec or dungeon, it means I’ve tested it myself. I don’t copy content from elsewhere, and I don’t try to sound smarter than I am. I just write clearly and honestly.

Who I Am Outside the Game

I live in Spokane, Washington, in a quiet neighborhood with tall pine trees and slow mornings. When I’m not playing or writing, I enjoy cooking, hiking, and reading about old game history. I’ve worked in retail and customer support, and both jobs taught me the value of simple, useful instructions—something I use in every guide I write.

My current WoW main is a Restoration Druid, though I’ve played nearly every class at some point. I enjoy healing because it lets me focus on helping others in dungeons and raids. I also love running old content for mounts and transmog, especially on rainy afternoons with music in the background.

Why I Keep Writing

I don’t do this for fame or money. I run higashinoeden.com because I care about the game and the people who play it. There’s a lot of noise online—too many ads, too many buzzwords, too many guides that are hard to follow. I wanted to build a site that feels calm, helpful, and focused on what matters.

I’m here to give you clear answers, simple breakdowns, and real thoughts. Whether you’re new to WoW, returning after years away, or just want a clean way to keep up with patch changes, I hope my writing helps.

How to Reach Me

If you want to say hello, ask a question, or suggest a topic, I’d love to hear from you.

I do my best to reply to every message. Whether it’s feedback, a guide request, or just a story you want to share, I’m always open to it.
